Receive a quote for your trip
Once we have the details of your requirements we will check prices and will provide a quote either by phone or email.
Refining your quotation
We understand that things change. Group numbers alter and ideas within the group are circulated. If you want to refine the proposal in any way we are happy to do this and can guide you through the most economical and convenient way to handle things.
Making a group booking for your annual golf trip can be complex but we are on hand to guide you along the way and will always be as flexible we can be to make the job easier and ease the administration on you. TGI Golf Travel are a Member of the Travel Trust Association (TTA) Member No.Q5697. Payments made to TGI Golf Travel Limited are deposited into a Trust Account , a bank account designated to hold the customers’ money in ‘Trust’ until their holiday is completed. An appointed Trustee outwith TGI Golf Travel must authorise any payments from the Trust Account to the Suppliers. In addition to being held in trust, you also have a financial guarantee from the Travel Trust Association allowing us to offer 100% Financial Protection.
Confirming your booking
Once you have settled on the trip you want to take we will need some further details from you. This varies depending on what you are booking but generally we will need the following;
- home address or contact address where you would like your booking correspondence and tickets to be sent
- first and last names of those travelling as they appear on everyone's passport
- preferred tee off times
- any other requests regarding rooming or seating
- a deposit of £50 per person plus flight costs. Deposits can vary from this but we will let you know at time of booking if they do
Documentation you can expect
Once we have received your deposits we will send a booking confirmation within 7 days. Generally it is within the first few days and we will be in touch with you by email or phone to let you know everything is confirmed prior to sending the official confirmation. If you have booked a flight inclusive package we will send an ATOL certificate along with your booking confirmation. At the same time we will send you one of our API Forms (Advance Passenger Information). Regulations require travel companies and individuals to submit passport information into the airlines system prior to travel. This includes full name, Date of Birth, Passport Number, Issue Date and Expiry Date. We will only use this information for the purpose stated.
Please ensure you and the others on your booking have adequate travel insurance. If you don't have your own annual policy we recommend you take out insurance as soon as you make your booking.
Please refer to the gov.uk website https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice for up to date information on entry requirements, security, travel advice and much more on the country you are travelling to. It is your responsibility to ensure your passport meets the criteria required.
Changes by us or by you
Due to the nature of the travel business sometimes changes happen. We will make you aware of any changes that affect you as soon as possible and will always have a fair and reasonable approach to this and will do everything we can to minimise the impact on you. We also understand that you may need to amend your booking at times. We will pass on any charges imposed by airlines or other suppliers and will be as flexible as we can be.
Paying the balance of your holiday
The balance of your holiday is due 10 weeks prior to departure. In some cases this may vary depending on the suppliers conditions but we will let you know at time of booking.
Tickets, vouchers and boarding passes
We send out a pack with any services you have booked through us including tickets, vouchers and boarding passes between 10 and 14 days prior to travel. Any specific information that is important to your trip will be included in that package.
Assistance in resort
In some destinations we have representatives available in resort to assist you with your trip. This will be made clear in your travel documents. If we don't have local representatives in your chosen destination, please contact us at Head Office if you do require assistance and we will be glad to help.
