Spain, Costa del Sol
Marbella Golf and Country Club measures 6372 yards for a par of 72. The fairways are heavily guarded by bunkers, and brave tee shots over the many ravines and gully will be rewarded with short approaches into large undulating greens. The course has four par 5's, ten par 4's and four par 3's, among some breathtaking views of the sea and the surrounding hills and olive groves
Away from the course, Marbella Golf and Country Club boasts a wide range of on-site facilities. These include a Pro Shop, Golf Academy, a Putting Green and a Clubhouse restaurant.
The Hotel Encinar de Sotogrande is set in a privileged location near the beaches of the Costa del Sol, and some of the best golf courses in Spain such as Valderrama, home of the 1997 Ryder Cup, which is just 10 minutes away by car.
Offering a wide range of sports facilities, swimming pools and activity programmes, this hotel is perfect for the family.
The SO Sotogrande is an excellent 5 star resort with bungalow-style rooms with their own terrace, overlooking the hotel gardens, golf course and the coast.
The H10 Andalucia Plaza is located just minutes away from the town of Puerto Banus, with the beach and the marina just 5 minutes' away.
The newer of the two courses at Mijas Golf, Los Olivos Course has undergone extensive regeneration in recent years to bring the course up to USGA requirements.
Created to maintain the natural environment, this course blends in beautifully with the surrounding rugged terrain and sits just outside the bustling centre of Marbella.
Carved into the hillside with natural vistas in every direction, this 18-hole championship course was designed in 2003 by American architect and course designer Cabell B. Robinson.
The third of three courses on the La Cala Resort, it is fair to say that the Europa layout is the friendliest of the trio.
