Since hosting the Volvo Masters, Montecastillo has undergone a 2 million euro refurbishment project so that the course now includes a state of the art drainage system, GPS technology and extensive Olive Tree plantations.
Although hosting a European Tour event for elite players, Montecastillo still remains a fair course for golfers of all abilities with its many teeing areas.
